8.  தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தை யூதரின் மூப்பர் கட்டும் விஷயத்தில் நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யத்தக்கதாய், நம்மால் உண்டான கட்டளை என்னவென்றால், அந்த மனிதருக்குத் தடை உண்டாகாதபடிக்கு, நதிக்கு அப்புறத்தில் வாங்கப்படும் பகுதியாகிய ராஜாவின் திரவியத்திலே அவர்களுக்குத் தாமதமில்லாமல் செல்லும் செலவு கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

8.  Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.
