17. அவன் தன் ஊழியக்காரரில் ஒருவனுக்குத் தன் சுதந்தரத்தில் ஒரு பங்கைக் கொடுத்தானேயாகில், அது விடுதலையின் வருஷமட்டும் அவனுடையதாயிருந்து, பின்பு திரும்ப அதிபதியின் வசமாய்ச் சேரும்; அதின் சுதந்தரம் அவன் குமாரருக்கே உரியது, அது அவர்களுடையதாயிருக்கும்.
17. But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons' for them.
