26.  நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அவர்கள் அறியத்தக்கதாக, நான் அவர்களைப் பாழாக்கும்படி, அவர்கள் கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கிறதையெல்லாம் தீக்கடக்கப்பண்ணி, இவ்விதமாய் அவர்களுடைய பலிகளினாலே அவர்களைத் தீட்டுப்படப்பண்ணினேன்.

26.  And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.
