22.  மனிதர் சண்டைபண்ணி, கர்ப்பவதியான ஒரு ஸ்திரீயை அடித்ததினால், அவளுக்கு வேறே சேதமில்லாமல் கர்ப்பம் விழுந்துபோனால் அடிபட்ட ஸ்திரீயின் புருஷன் அடித்தவன்மேல் சுமத்துகிறதற்குத்தக்கதாயும் நியாயாதிபதிகள் செய்யும் தீர்ப்பின்படியும் தண்டம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

22.  If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
