6.  விருந்திலே திராட்சரசம் பரிமாறப்படுகையில், ராஜா எஸ்தரைப் பார்த்து: உன் வேண்டுதல் என்ன? அது உனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்; நீ கேட்கிறது என்ன? நீ ராஜ்யத்தில் பாதிமட்டும் கேட்டாலும் கிடைக்கும் என்றான்.

6.  And the king said unto esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
