8.  ஆதலால் இப்போதும் ராஜாவே, மேதியருக்கும் பெர்சியருக்கும் இருக்கிற மாறாத பிரமாணத்தின்படியே, அந்தத் தாக்கீது மாற்றப்படாதபடி நீர் அதைக் கட்டளையிட்டு, அதற்குக் கையெழுத்து வைக்கவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்.

8.  Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
