12.  அதின் இலைகள் நேர்த்தியும், அதின் கனி மிகுதியுமாயிருந்தது; எல்லா ஜீவனுக்கும் அதில் ஆகாரம் உண்டாயிருந்தது; அதின்கீழே வெளியின் மிருகங்கள் நிழலுக்கு ஒதுங்கினது; அதின் கொப்புகளில் ஆகாயத்துப் பட்சிகள் தாபரித்துச் சகல பிராணிகளும் அதினால் போஷிக்கப்பட்டது.

12.  The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.
