15.  அவர்கள் போய் பெத்மாக்காவாகிய ஆபேலிலே அவனை முற்றிக்கைபோட்டு, பட்டணத்திற்கு எதிராகத் தெற்றுவரைக்கும் கொத்தளம் போட்டார்கள்; யோவாபோடே இருக்கிற ஜனங்கள் எல்லாம் அலங்கத்தை விழப்பண்ணும்படி அழிக்க எத்தனம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

15.  And they came and besieged him in Abel of Bethmaachah, and they cast up a bank against the city, and it stood in the trench: and all the people that were with Joab battered the wall, to throw it down.
