20.  அப்பொழுது அவள் சகோதரனாகிய அப்சலோம் அவளைப் பார்த்து: உன் சகோதரனாகிய அம்னோன் உன்னோடிருந்தானோ? இப்போதும் என் சகோதரியே, நீ மவுனமாயிரு; அவன் உன்னுடைய சகோதரன்; இந்தக் காரியத்தை உன்மனதிலே வைக்காதே என்றான்; அப்படியே தாமார் தன் சகோதரனாகிய அப்சலோமின் வீட்டில் தனித்துக் கிலேசப்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தாள்.

20.  And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy peace, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house.
