34.  ஆனாலும் ஆசாரியர்கள் கொஞ்சம் பேரானதினால் அவர்களால் அந்தச் சர்வாங்க தகனமான ஜீவன்களையெல்லாம் அடித்துத் தோலுரிக்க முடியாதிருந்தது; அதினாலே அந்த வேலை தீருமட்டாகவும், மற்ற ஆசாரியர் தங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணுமட்டாகவும், அவர்கள் சகோதரராகிய லேவியர் அவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்தார்கள்; தங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணிக்கொள்ள லேவியர் ஆசாரியரைப்பார்க்கிலும் மன உற்சாகமுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தார்கள்.

34.  But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
