21.  ரெகொபெயாம் மாகாளின் குமாரனாகிய அபியாவை அவன் சகோதரருக்குள்ளே தலைவனும் பெரியவனுமாக ஏற்படுத்தினான்; அவனை ராஜாவாக்க நினைத்தான்.

21.  And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and threescore daughters.)
