4.  அவர்கள் மறுநாள் காலமே எழுந்திருந்து வந்தபோது, இதோ, தாகோன் கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாகத் தரையிலே முகங்குப்புற விழுந்துகிடந்ததுமல்லாமல், தாகோனின் தலையும் அதின் இரண்டு கைகளும் வாசற்படியின்மேல் உடைபட்டுக் கிடந்தது; தாகோனுக்கு உடல்மாத்திரம் மீதியாயிருந்தது.

4.  And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
