1.  பின்பு சாமுவேல் சவுலை நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேலராகிய தம்முடைய ஜனங்கள் மேல் உம்மை ராஜாவாக அபிஷேகம் பண்ணுகிறதற்குக் கர்த்தர் என்னை அனுப்பினாரே; இப்போதும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைகளின் சத்தத்தைக்கேளும்:

1.  Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.
