23.  அப்பொழுது அவள் புருஷனாகிய எல்க்கானா அவளை நோக்கி: நீ உன் இஷ்டப்படி செய்து, அவனைப் பால் மறக்கப்பண்ணுமட்டும் இரு; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய வார்த்தையைமாத்திரம் நிறைவேற்றுவாராக என்றான்; அப்படியே அந்த ஸ்திரீ தன் பிள்ளையைப் பால் மறக்கப்பண்ணுமட்டும் அதற்கு முலைகொடுத்தாள்.

23.  And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
