பூமியிலே பாவங்களை மன்னிக்க மனுஷகுமாரனுக்கு அதிகாரம் உண்டென்பதை நீங்கள் அறியவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லி திமிர்வாதக்காரனை நோக்கி:

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
