சகல மாம்சத்துக்கும் இரத்தம் உயிராயிருக்கிறது; இரத்தம் ஜீவனுக்குச் சமானம்; ஆகையால் எந்த மாம்சத்தின் இரத்தத்தையும் புசிக்கவேண்டாம். சகல மாம்சத்தின் உயிரும் அதின் இரத்தந்தானே; அதைப் புசிக்கிற எவனும் அறுப்புண்டுபோவான் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொன்னேன்.
