அப்பொழுது எரேமியாவைக் காவற்சாலையின் முற்றத்திலே காக்கவும், நகரத்திலே அப்பமிருக்குமட்டும் அப்பஞ்சுடுகிறவர்களின் வீதியிலே தினம் ஒரு அப்பத்தை அவனுக்கு வாங்கிக் கொடுக்கவும் கட்டளையிட்டான்; அப்படியே எரேமியா காவற்சாலையின் முற்றத்திலே இருந்தான்.
Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
