தீமையைப் பார்க்கமாட்டாத சுத்தக்கண்ணனே, அநியாயத்தை நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கமாட்டீரே; பின்னை துரோகிகளை நீர் நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதென்ன? துன்மார்க்கன் தன்னைப் பார்க்கிலும் நீதிமானை விழுங்கும்போது நீர் மெளனமாயிருக்கிறதென்ன?
Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
