அதற்கு அவன்: பிள்ளைகள் இளம் பிள்ளைகளென்றும், கறவையான ஆடுமாடுகள் என்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது என்றும் என் ஆண்டவனுக்குத் தெரியும்; அவைகளை ஒரு நாளாவது துரிதமாய் ஓட்டினால், மந்தையெல்லாம் மாண்டுபோம்.
And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
