யாத்திராகமம் 23:8

பரிதானம் வாங்காதிருப்பாயாக; பரிதானம் பார்வையுள்ளவர்களைக் குருடாக்கி, நீதிமான்களின் வார்த்தைகளைப் புரட்டும்.

And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
